What the information here is for, and the limits you should read it within.

Information, not advice

This site reproduces public regulatory data and explains it. It is not financial, legal or personal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to gamble with any operator. Decisions you make after reading it are your own.

Accuracy and timing

Data is taken from the Gambling Commission's public register and refreshed weekly. Every page states the date the register was read. Licences are granted, surrendered and revoked continually, and regulatory actions drop off the register after three years, so for a decision that matters, confirm against the Commission's own register as well. Where our copy and the register disagree, the register is right.

The Safety Record score

The score is our own construction from public data, using a published formula. It is an opinion expressed arithmetically, not a statement of fact about an operator, and the methodology page sets out what it cannot capture.

Reuse of the underlying data

The Gambling Commission's register is published under the Open Government Licence and remains theirs. If you want the data, take it from the source rather than from us; it will be fresher.

18+

Gambling in Britain is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. This site is written for adults and several pages discuss gambling harm. Free, confidential help is available at any hour on the National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133.
