Scored on the register alone. Safer gambling tool coverage and RTP disclosure are only counted for operators we have tested directly, and this one has not been tested yet, so those weights are excluded rather than guessed. How the score works

The enforcement component carries the most weight and it is what moves this figure: £360,000 in penalties across 1 decision published since September 2023, weighted towards the most recent. 8 years of licensed operation gives partial credit on tenure, which reaches full marks at fifteen. No licence has been revoked, so licence standing is unaffected.

What the Gambling Commission has published about Maple International Ventures Limited

Each entry below is a published decision, reproduced from the Commission's register of regulatory actions as read on 11 August 2026. Wording is the Commission's, not ours.

This is not the company's full enforcement history. The Commission withdraws a decision from the register three years after it is published, so what appears here — and every total on this page — covers decisions from September 2023 onwards. Penalties issued before then, including some of the largest in the Commission's history, are no longer on the register and are not counted. How this window affects the score.

A regulatory review under section 116 of the Act was commenced following a Compliance Assessment (the Assessment) of the remote Operating Licence of Maple International Ventures Limited (the Licensee) (licence number 051833-R-329042-007). The review found failings in the Licensee’s Anti-Money Laundering / Counter Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) and Social Responsibility (SR) controls. The failings related to the Licensee’s online casino and betting activities. The Licensee failed to comply with the following Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) over varying periods between June 2023 and October 2024: paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Licence Condition (LC) 12.1.1 which requires licensees to ensure they have an appropriate risk assessment, policies, procedures and controls to prevent Money Laundering (ML) and Terrorist Financing (TF). The Licensee must also ensure that ML policies, procedures and controls are implemented effectively, kept under review, revised appropriately to ensure that they remain effective, and take into account any applicable learning or guidelines published by the Gambling Commission. paragraphs 1, 4, 5 (a, b, c and d) and 11 of Social Responsibility Code Provision (SRCP) 3.4.3 relating to remote customer interaction. In line with our Statement of Principles for Licensing and regulation , the Licensee will make a payment in lieu of a financial penalty of £360,000. Details of this are set out under the heading Regulatory Settlement. Common questions about Maple International Ventures Limited

Is Maple International Ventures Limited licensed in the UK?

Yes. The Gambling Commission lists 3 active operating licences against Maple International Ventures Limited, account number 51833, the earliest running since 20 July 2018. That includes an active remote casino licence, so it is permitted to offer online casino games to British players.

Has Maple International Ventures Limited been fined by the Gambling Commission?

1 regulatory action is currently published against it, decided since September 2023 and totalling £360,000. The most recent was decided on 1 September 2025 and recorded as a settlement of £360,000. Sanctions and settlements stay on the Commission's register for three years from publication, so that figure is what the register carries today and not the company's entire enforcement history — older penalties, including some very large ones, have been withdrawn from the register and are not counted here. The Commission's own wording for each decision is reproduced above.

Who do I complain to about Maple International Ventures Limited?

Start with the operator in writing. If it is unresolved after eight weeks, or you disagree with its final response, the complaint goes to the alternative dispute resolution provider it is signed up to, free of charge. The Gambling Commission does not settle individual disputes and cannot recover your money, though it does use complaint patterns to drive compliance work.

How is the Safety Record score for Maple International Ventures Limited calculated?

From three inputs in the public register, weighted 55 for enforcement burden, 25 for licence standing and 20 for licence tenure, normalised to a mark out of 100. Maple International Ventures Limited scores 48. Safer gambling tool coverage and RTP disclosure are only counted where we have tested a site directly; this operator has not been tested, so those weights are excluded rather than guessed at. No commercial arrangement can change the figure.
