Scored on the register alone. Safer gambling tool coverage and RTP disclosure are only counted for operators we have tested directly, and this one has not been tested yet, so those weights are excluded rather than guessed. How the score works

The enforcement component carries the most weight and it is what moves this figure: £0 in penalties across 1 decision published since September 2023, weighted towards the most recent. 6 years of licensed operation gives partial credit on tenure, which reaches full marks at fifteen. No licence has been revoked, so licence standing is unaffected.

What the Gambling Commission has published about Spribe OÜ

Each entry below is a published decision, reproduced from the Commission's register of regulatory actions as read on 11 August 2026. Wording is the Commission's, not ours.

This is not the company's full enforcement history. The Commission withdraws a decision from the register three years after it is published, so what appears here — and every total on this page — covers decisions from September 2023 onwards. Penalties issued before then, including some of the largest in the Commission's history, are no longer on the register and are not counted. How this window affects the score.

Sanction

Warning

Following a review of Spribe OÜ’s (“the Licensee”) operating licence under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005 (“the Act”), the Gambling Commission (“the Commission”) found that the Licensee had been operating without the appropriate licence between 28 May 2021 and 30 October 2025*. As a result of this, the Commission determined that the Licensee had failed to adequately uphold the requirements of the Licensing Objectives, in particular: preventing gambling from being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime or disorder or being used to support crime (section 1(a) of the Act). This gave rise to concerns in respect of the Licensee’s suitability to conduct licensed activities, specifically the competence of the Licensee. In line with the Commission’s Licensing, compliance and enforcement policy statement and the Indicative sanctions guidance the Commission has decided to impose a warning to the Licensee under section 117(1)(a) of the Act. The Licensee co-operated with the Commission throughout the investigation and took corrective steps to address the identified concerns. *The date the Commission suspended the Licensee’s operating licence preventing any gambling facilities from being offered

Licences on record

The permissions held by Spribe OÜ cover one regulated activity: Gambling Software. All of its licences are remote or ancillary remote, so its permissions are for online play rather than premises.

Common questions about Spribe OÜ

Is Spribe OÜ licensed in the UK?

Yes. The Gambling Commission lists 1 active operating licence against Spribe OÜ, account number 57302, the earliest running since 8 December 2020. It does not currently hold an active remote casino licence.

Has Spribe OÜ been fined by the Gambling Commission?

1 regulatory action is currently published against it, decided since September 2023 and totalling £0. The most recent was decided on 12 June 2026 and recorded as a sanction. Sanctions and settlements stay on the Commission's register for three years from publication, so that figure is what the register carries today and not the company's entire enforcement history — older penalties, including some very large ones, have been withdrawn from the register and are not counted here. The Commission's own wording for each decision is reproduced above.

Who do I complain to about Spribe OÜ?

Start with the operator in writing. If it is unresolved after eight weeks, or you disagree with its final response, the complaint goes to the alternative dispute resolution provider it is signed up to, free of charge. The Gambling Commission does not settle individual disputes and cannot recover your money, though it does use complaint patterns to drive compliance work.

How is the Safety Record score for Spribe OÜ calculated?

From three inputs in the public register, weighted 55 for enforcement burden, 25 for licence standing and 20 for licence tenure, normalised to a mark out of 100. Spribe OÜ scores 85. Safer gambling tool coverage and RTP disclosure are only counted where we have tested a site directly; this operator has not been tested, so those weights are excluded rather than guessed at. No commercial arrangement can change the figure.
